Service Description The remote neurosurgeon consultation is a paid healthcare service provided remotely and online. The patient submits their health information and examination results via the patient portal. During the consultation, professional recommendations are provided remotely based on the information and documentation submitted by the patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. The client can choose the following services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Second opinion \u2013 an independent medical specialist\u2019s assessment or conclusion regarding a previously received diagnosis or treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Service price: remote neurosurgeon consultation \u2013 second opinion: EUR 50.00<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The response is provided within 3 working days after completing the questionnaire (form).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Procedure for obtaining a consultation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose a Service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a Specialist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a payment:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">Internet banks: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor, Revolut<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent\">Bank cards: VISA, Mastercard<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment processing is provided by EveryPay in cooperation with partner banks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Authenticates with Smart-ID or eSignature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the consultation questionnaire and attach the necessary documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sa\u0146em speci\u0101lista atbildi e-past\u0101 3 darba dienu laik\u0101.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Payments<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Payments are processed through the EveryPay payment platform using SSL encryption.<br>After a successful payment, the client receives a confirmation by e-mail. All payments are made in euros. Prices are indicated with VAT included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Right of Withdrawal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with Paragraph 22 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law (PTAL) and Cabinet Regulation No. 255 \u201cRegulations on Distance Contracts,\u201d the Customer <strong>has no right of withdrawal<\/strong>because the service is provided remotely and is initiated immediately after the client's consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Client's duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The client undertakes to provide true, accurate, and complete information in the questionnaire.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the client knowingly provides misleading or false information, the service provider reserves the right to refuse or cancel the consultation without compensation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the client maliciously uses the system, including registering with a false identity or violating the rules, the service provider reserves the right to block access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Limitation of Liability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The consultation provided is informative and does not replace a face-to-face doctor's examination or emergency medical assistance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The service provider is not liable for any consequences if the client bases decisions solely on the remote consultation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The service provider is not responsible for delays in the consultation if they are caused by technical issues or external circumstances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Force Majeure<em>Force Majeure<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service provider is not liable for service unavailability if it is caused by extraordinary circumstances beyond the company's control (e.g., technical disruptions, hacker attacks, war, pandemics, government regulations, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Data Protection<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, including sensitive data (such as health information, personal identification number, etc.), which is stored securely and only for as long as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.
